Ziprasidone (Geodon) and down Syndrome...moms review

Our second approach to Mood stabilizer for Tarek was GEODON (Ziprasidone) once a day at 6pm 20mg. We were desperately wanted to see some changes with this medicine but sadly no mayor improvements. It does help him to sleep better at night time, and for a little bit he was screaming less at people requests but little but little his screaming started to increase and he went back to being Sad, showing more oppositional behaviors, sensory overload, anxiety and the regular NIIIII sound to anybody that ask him a questions.

So we contact his doctor and prescribed for today to double his doses. I'm worried with the medication and sad that he has to go through all this changes. He looks so UNHAPPY and I wish  have super powers to go inside his brain and heart and figure out. For today we will continue to hug and love him until grumpy Tarek leaves his body and go to play far far away.
